Originally from North Queensland, Andie has quickly risen through the bartending ranks to her current role of Bar Manager at The Waratah, Sydney. Her infectious enthusiasm and creative flair has helped her successfully curate a large selection of innovative pop-ups nation wide, along with influencing her role as manager of Evan Stroeve’s latest venue. 

What first drew you to bartending, and what keeps you passionate about it today? 

Hospitality has always been desirable for me, with both my parents in the industry. Watching their approach and growth inspires me to be better every day.

I have just taken on a new role as Creative Lead at The Waratah in Darlinghurst. The venue is a testament to the stories of modern Australia shared through the connection between growers, indigenous communities, sustainability, and seasonality.
