After learning the ropes studying hospitality management and working in restaurants in Mexico City, Eduardo made the migration to Aus where he is General Manager of El Primo Sánchez, Sydney’s newest and grooviest Mexican-agave spirits and cocktail bar.
What first drew you to bartending, and what keeps you passionate about it today?
The opportunity to share experiences and memories through a drink or a chat. I think there is something so special about connecting with another human being by creating something designed for them through a creative process. I think that is the beauty of bartending, that everyone is different and everyday will be a new opportunity to connect with a stranger that might become a regular or even a friend. People and creativity are the two things that make me passionate every day.
